Worst mistake I’ve ever made series link+ was so useful. Hate this new box you can stuff your sports I want my old box back never been so angry I was mislead by the emails and the woman on chat feel I’ve been conned into a new contract that I’m stuck with will never recommend virgin to anyone I like.

Apart from recording across channels you should be able to set your recordings using the advanced options to something similar. I have had 360 for 5 years so don't know how the V6 recording options have progressed but the across channels is a big miss.

I'm pretty sure the 360 doesn't support Series Link+, which adds content from streaming services into your recording list as and when it becomes available (and updates streamed content with recordings if it is broadcast) which was a very nice useful feature. As mentioned, the series link options in general are also more limited.

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your new 360 box.
Please can you expand on why you feel misled from the email that was sent out? The upgrade to the 360 box should not have put you onto a new contract, you would have continued your previous contract unless you have agreed a new contract as part of the upgrade.

I was out of contract but received an email saying I needed to upgrade or I’d not be able to access everything I was paying for. The person on chat said they couldn’t do the “ upgrade” unless I took out a new contract. That upgrade is a total downgrade I’ve lost most of the functionality I relied on but particularly the ability to set up series links in advance of a new series for whatever channel the new series ended up on. I hate the 360 it’s definitely not the upgrade I expected TiVo was far better, easier to use and with far more useful functions. I will certainly rethink remaining with Virgin at the end of this contract.

What did this email say that you wouldn't be able to access without converting to TV360? Was it just the Sky Sports HD multi-screen or something else?

Also disappointed with limited series link in 360. For example the new series of Sherwood on BBC1 starts on 25.8.24. Why is it not available to set up? It’s not on the TV guide, which currently says BBC1 is off air during the evening of 25th. Ridiculous

Thanks for coming back to us on this one. We're really sorry you feel that way. 360 is our latest box and has the most functions available. Some of these do differ from previous boxes based on feedback received from customers.
We always take on board the feedback we receive so we can collect the information and use it to learn more about the areas we need to improve. We will certainly pass this information along to the relevant teams.
