Its not the TV that has any fault and its not the device that's impacted, its the 360 that's the impacted device.
The 360 remote still other tv controls functions on the TV, ie HDMI input control, with the 360 remote but it will not control the TV volume intermittently.
This issue never happened with the TIVO prior to upgrading to the 360.
Its not a TV issue and as i keep saying, if anyone dealing with this will bother to reed back at all of the comments i've been responding with, its an issue with the 360 remote software and it needs fixed or updating possibly with an option to manually remove other audio devices and select the TV as the audio control.
Hi Darksideofmoon,
Have you swapped the two boxes that you have around to verify if the issue lies with the box in question?
Thanks,

Have you read my previous comments?
The answer is yes, i have swapped about both boxes and which ever box is connected to the Hisense TV starts to get this intermittent issue with not being able to control the TV volume and gets a phantom Sony amp audio device appearing.

Hi Darksideofmoon,
I had read your previous responses here before replying but I wanted you to clarify. If the issue is specific to one TV and not to the box then it would suggest the root of the problem is surrounding said impacted TV.
When connected to the TV, you're saying that it's intermittently connecting to a third party device that you don't own and when it does this you have no audio and cannot control the audio?
Thanks,

That is exactly the situation.
It is not an issue with the TV, if it was there would be other issues with the TV and other devices and there isn't and its TV remote would also have issues controlling the volume at it doesn't. The fault is with the software on the 360 remote control system.
