Having previously had issues with logging into TV go on my phone which were resolved I am now having problems with sky sports not recognising my password when I try to log in. I can still watch all the other channels and can watch sky sports on my laptop but not my phone.
I have tried resetting my password and unregistering my devices to no avail.
any help gratefully received.

Just to check please, are you following the below process?
If so, what is the error message you are seeing please when trying to sign in with your My Virgin Media details?

I have done everything above and have previously been watching any of the channels on my phone but, all of sudden it is not accepting my password for sky sports. I get the message that the email or password is incorrect

Thanks for getting back to us, with regards to your account and password, if this enables you to log in via other devices, we would state that this would be either the phone or an issue with the Sky Sports app, with this we would advise checking that the app and phone match for eligibility and if yes then reach out directly to Sky Sports.

I think it is unlikely there is a problem with either my phone or the sky spots app as I have previously been able to watch sky sports on this phone and this has o ly recently started.

Thanks for coming back to us neetyh, I dont mean to cause any offence with this question but are you logging into the Virgin Media UK part of the Sky Sports app?
Please can you provide a screenshot of the error message that you're getting?
Also, are you using the most up to date version of the Sky Sports app?

I am trying to access via the virgin media part of the sky sports app and as far as I am aware I am using the most up to date app. This is the message i get;

Thanks for coming back to us on this one and for providing the additional information.
If the username and password is working on the other VM apps and Sky Sports on other devices then we can only assume this is an issue with the Sky Sports app or your device itself. If it was an account issue, the same error would happen across the board on all devices and apps.
I would try completely removing the Sky Sports app from your device by deleting this. Restart your phone and maybe even wait a day or two before redownloading the app. During this time it may be worth resetting your log in password via My VM just to ensure everything has synced up.
Once you've done this, redownload the app and try again. Keep us posted on how you get on.
