Sky sports app login probs

Hi, I have sky sports as part of my package at home but keep being asked by the sky sports app to get sky sports. 

I am logging in via the virgin icon but can't watch live. 

Please help anyone, driving me crazy.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue logging in to the Sky Sports app. Usually, where the package is active, and logging in via the VM logo, it should give you the access that matches your subscription. 

Can you please give a little more information on the error code and message that you're receiving? If possible, also provide a screenshot. 

Do you have another device that you can check to see if the same things happens?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

It seems to happen on both my android devices and my partners iphone.

 i have tried going in via the virgin link and sky sports app directly with the same result.

Hi JL

Do you have any problems signing into My Virgin Media?  The Sky Sports app uses the same credentials as My Virgin Media.

What happens if you select a Sky Sports channel to watch when using Virgin TVGo? That app should have a link  highlighted in red that says 'Exit to watch'.  This should then take you to the Sky Sports app and open the channel you selected.

Hi, no I don't have any probs signing in and can browse the app ok. Just having to watch sky sports on the TV instead at the moment.

I have used the link on Virgin TV go and still get the same message I'm afraid.

In order to look into the matter for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.

If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
