Sky sports app login

Hi

I'm having issues logging into the sky sports app, I've been using the app for number of years now, but now I'm unable to log in. It asks me to sign in as a virgin media customer which I do but said my password is not recognised, (I've not changed it).  When I select forgot password it takes me to a page to change it and when you press submit it just spinss on the VM logo and then freezes without signing me in.   Can anyone help?  I'm subscribed to sky sports and i can log into virgin tv go, so that's not an issue.

  • Just to keep you updated, this has now been resolved. I contacted virgin and I was using an old ntlworld login in my account and it is no longer valid. They've changed my email address and everything works fine now, thanks for your help.

    Hi Dagzyh 

    Double check that there isn't a hard space at the beginning or end of the username or password.

      Hey Dagzy74, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear you are having some Sky Sports issues.

      Just to confirm do you think you could have gone over the device limit at all?

    Device limit is fine, I'm using the same device that I always have. I'm just not able to login in. I'm recognised as a customer but it won't login, when I try reset password to try that way it just freezes on the virgin logo and i cannot go any further. I've attached the screen it freezes on.

      Thanks for coming back to us Dagzy74. If you're still having issues. Please could you try to change your password from a different device or clear your browser's cache and try again?

    Hi

    I've tried doing this on my wife's phone but encounter the same issue where it freezes on the login screen. I can log into all virgin media apps but sky sports app won't accept the password.  I have previously used it but must have been signed out on the last update.  I have checked and my device is no longer associated with the app, i have no devices registered, any help would be appreciated so that I can use the app.
