Sky Sports App returns an "unexpected error" when trying to log in

Hi

I run a Windows 10 PC and when I try to log into the Sky Sports app via the Virgin Media log in I simply get an "unexpected error" banner

Can you help please

I am sorry to hear you're getting this error. 

Have you tried an alternative browser or cleared cookies/cache?

Yes tried both Edge and Google Chrome and cleared the cache

New  computer and did have an issue with blocked mail but all resolved with the support team

No issue in logging in to my VM account currently

Will look at the FAQ's as per your link but have browsed them before posting and nothing really to help me

Any help would be appreciated

You don't have a VPN that could be blocking your access at all do you?

No I do not use a VPN

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Sky Sports app but without success

Have you or can you try the browser and use Incognito mode?

Also, are you able to duplicate this on any other devices?

Now tried Incognito mode in Google and InPrivate mode in Edge

 

Google returns the "An unexpected error has occurred" banner

Edge returns Error code FSB50 - your login request was unsuccessful Please try again - using Edge I receive this message as soon as I input the VM sign in email

I will try later with myiPad but not hopeful

Any help appreciated
