Need to reset registered devices

TimRH
Tuning in

Hi

I have the same problem as others have had with TV go ... Every time I log in and try to watch something it asks me to re-register the same device until all my options have been used up.  Please can you reset my account and explain to me how to avoid the problem happening again.

Thanks in anticipation

Tim

Hey @TimRH,

Welcome back to the Community Forums and thanks for the post.

Sorry to hear you have been having this issue, with TV GO, you can go about resetting these devices via our website here, depending on the device you use, if there is different browsers then this can cause an issue with this and register it as different devices.

Thanks for your response which took me to the device management but the only thing I could do on that tab was change the name of my device ... which did not help I still could not reset or clear the list and I still don't know how to stop it reregistering the same device over and over again.  Any more options please?

Hi Tim,

Thank you for reaching back out, you can register new devices again at the start of the month, the reason why your device may be showing as a new device is, if this is Via a browser, you may have it set to clear Cache and Cookies when the device is rebooted, if this is the case, the browser doesn't remember the device and shows it as a new device, to stop this change the settings not to delete Cache and Cookies.

Regards

Paul.
