Extra Eurosport channels for Olympics not available on TVGO?

Why are these not available on TVGO?

The most important sports event after the Euros this year and we are denied the ability to watch? This happened in 2021 yet SkyGO customers could apparently watch them: Eurosport extra Olympic channels on TV Go - Virgin Media Community - 4778539

But no explanation as to why TVGO was excluded in that post just that they were!

Can any SkyGO users confirm if you can watch these via SkyGO?

We've asked our Product Team and they've confirmed that the extra channels will not be available on TV GO. The extra channels are however available if you have the TV service package with us, please see more information here .

A few events have already started prior to the opening ceremony which is on Friday.

I have been (and still are) watching Olympic Football on Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 5. The football started today.   Olympic Rugby Seven's is currently showing on Eurosport 2.

The France v USA Olympics Football is currently showing on the Eurosport 4K channel as well as on Eurosport 1.

I am aware the TV will get them but why is TVGO excluded when it's a major sporting event and not everyone in the same household will want to be stuck around the same TV watching the same event!

It's 2024 and streaming content is as common as the cold yet we are left out in the cold, so what is the reason they are not available?

Then you will have to complain to Eurosport/Discovery who own the broadcast rights, as they are only allowing IP streaming of the additional content exclusively through their Discovery+ app (which of course you have to pay separately for). Sky has a carriage agreement that includes Discovery+, so no doubt their customers can access the content.
