WiFi keeps cutting out at pretty much the same times every night. Any ideas?

I had a new laptop at Christmas that connects via WiFi, my old one connected via ethernet. Anyway, the problem I'm finding is that now whilst gaming on my ps5 I find that at about 11 and 12 at night my internet stops working and any music I'm steaming stops and I get disconnected from the game I'm playing. My ps5 is connected via ethernet but the only thing that has changed recently is the fact I have a laptop connecting via WiFi instead of ethernet. I'm really confused but it's literally every night everything stops reconnectw withing a minute or two. Any ideas?

Setup a BQM to monitor your circuit to see the disconnects and record the events www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

Also it may be trying to update the Hub's firmware and failing.  Try a 60 second factory pinhole reset as below to force the firmware down;
Remove any ethernet cables from the Hub and hold the pinhole reset switch for 60 seconds. Do NOT reboot the Hub, just let it do it's thing. Note you will need the passwords from the bottom of the Hub afterwards, so make sure they are legible. NOTE this will remove any custom settings you may have set in the Hub, and they will all have to be setup again.

Hey swosin, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am so sorry to hear about this.

We understand this is frustrating  however sometimes we do send software updates around this time.

Could you please set a BQM up as suggested and we can take it from there. Cheers

Whats the point in a BQM here? the problem is wifi and the hubs wifi at that they need to look at a new router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode.
