Just poppin' in to mention I'm also having issues with drops in speed although I'm not in the York area.
I noticed yesterday that my speed had dropped all the way down to 1.6 Mbs but upload speed remained at 100 Mbs?
I've tried the following
Rebooted PC, Switched router of for a few minutes (Hub 4), Pressed the factory reset button and turned the hub off for over 30 minutes.
I've run all the tests on the mobile app and am currently in the wait 24 hours to see if it magically repairs itself phase lol (I'm somewhere around the 13 hour mark by now).
I'm in the FY3 area if that helps.
Currently (as of time of writing this the SamKnows download speed to router is 13.4 Mbps and to device (PC) 13.5 Mbps
Upload to router is 111 Mbps to router and 100 Mbps to device (PC)
Oh yeah PC is connected via ethernet.

All fixed, turns out the speed drops were down to the junction box being flooded which had eroded the cable.
