Been tearing my hair out with sam knows speed test showing 1140 at the router and 400-600 ish at the device and think i've got to the bottom of it.
Transferring files across my network without the sh5x involved i get a solid 110-115MBps transfer rate. (NOT Mbps). (going through a gigabit switch) If i transfer across the exact same devices but with one plugged direct in the sh5c, the transfer speeds drop to exactly the kind of speeds indicated by the sam knows speed test "device" result.
So it appears my virgin hubs ports are either faulty, or just **bleep**. Also, the 10gb port very reliably only operates at 100Mbps, so i wonder if this too points to a fault.
I have an engineer coming tomorrow who i can show all this too, i can't believe it could be the case the sh5x ports just generally can't do 1gb otherwise it'd be all over the internet.
