This a spam call?

I keep getting calls on 080005205xx. This was before I set uo an account. They then asked me to create a password over the phone. Very suspicious for me. Is this a legit number from VM?

I'm guessing with the reaction from a mod, it was not a legit vm number

We're not able to see the full number, but our agents do phone off the back of sales calls.

If you're unsure, never give any information out. And you can speak with the sales team directly on 0800 183 1234. If you have an account pending you can call pre-installs on 08000521734.
