Hi I've had £73 taken from my bank today. I'm not a virgin customer for many years. I believe this is a fraudulent direct debit and need this looked into

Contact your bank, demand that it reverses the payment under the DD Guarantee, and then cancel the DD.

The VM forum team might look into the fraud concern.

Another thing to do is to investigate how VM have got your bank account number and sort code. Without these a company cannot set up a Direct Debit.

Knows their stuff

and if they hadn't been able to take Direct Debit, can't help wonder what was being stored up for a debt collector visit and threatening letters over nothing owed 🙂
