Currently on a 500mb Virgin fibre package with no other add ons. Was paying £34 and the contract was increasing to £67.
Called & the best they could offer was £41 apparently so went ahead and cancelled. I have since had a call from retentions saying the best they could do was £35.
I have currently left it & they were back in touch sending me a text about a better offer but it was still at £35 when I called. Vodaphone do a 500mb package for £30 & 900mb for £36 in my area as an alternative.
I know it's not bad but I was wondering if anyone had had more success recently? I've seen people mention getting 1 Gig for a similar price or even the 'Mega Volt' package with Sky Sports & Netflix for £50.
Any input would be much appreciated!

Yes. If they really want you to stay you will get that call in the last week. That's what happened to me. If they don't call then they are happy to lose you.
It's all part of the retentions game.
