Hello,
My Virgin Media Hub (3), the White version, is overheating and causing frequent internet dropouts. The red indicator is on, indicating overheating.
I tried calling and booking an engineer, but the waiting times were too long. I work sporadic hours and am not always home.
Can a VM Mod arrange for a posted replacement Modem to be sent out?

I am so sorry to hear that you are facing an issue with your Hub, to clarify when you say its overheating is the box showing a red light or is hot to the touch?
Is the Hub out and in a well ventilated area?

Hi Ashleigh, Thanks for your reply. To confirm. My Hub is showing a red light, and it is quite hot to the touch. I reviewed the Hub guide about overheating and tried to leave it off and do a force reset via pinhole reset. It worked temporarily but then reverted to solid red light. The hub is in the living room, well-ventilated, and near a window.
