remote replacement

Currently have a 360 box and remote, that lights up uses 3 aaa batteries which need replacing every 4 months. Is it possible to swap for a remote that doesn't light up and only uses 2 aa batteries. Seems I'm using a lot of batteries to have a feature of the remote lighting up which I don't need. I know some customers do have the remote I'd like which would save me a lot in batteries.

Yes as they stopped using the four batteries type some time ago.   There are probably people on here who'd love your backlit remote....lol

The original 360 remote which lit up used 4 batteries, not 3.

Don't use rechargeable batteries as they don't last as long as regular batteries.

Have you tried to order a replacement remote online? If not follow the instructions on the links on the following pages. https://www.virginmedia.com/help/how-to/guides/tv/pairing-the-remote/360/start

Yes it was a mistype. The one I've caught uses four batteries.

Ordering a replacement doesn't answer the question. Can I get a replacement remote that doesn't use four batteries and only uses two AA batteries?
