Sky Sports Pixelated

Hi all,

my sky sports main event channel is currently the only one that works properly! Over the last couple of weeks the others are pixelated and mixed in to each other meaning I can’t actually watch any other channels! Any idea why or how to fix?

Pixelation is usually due to restricted bandwidth. Is your TV connected by WiFi?

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

Do you mean all other channels - or just Sports channels - i.e. are bbc/itv etc ok ?

What VM tv box are you using and how is it connected to the VM Hub - wifi or ethernet cable?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & TNT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi), Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

If you're not sure, look at the photos on https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box

V6 & TV360 are the same physical box, but run different software. V6 have the TiVo logo next to the video preview, TV360 doesn't.

Also the internet connection is not relevant for live broadcast TV which is fed from the co-ax cable connection. A poor internet connection usually exhibits as buffering with OnDemand playback.
