Hi,
I hope this hasn't been solved in a previous post, here goes!! so only a few days ago my new router arrived the Arris Hub 4 which was a replacement and an upgrade from the old Hub 3, but right from the word go I knew it would be a pain because it had written all over the box "Plug me in an active within 5 days" (or you'll lose service). Like everyone else dealing with daily stuff, you forget...
So, of course, I lost my internet and had to ring VM, but I can't fault the assistance I received, at first, I had to wait for them to send some signal to the new router, and I was back online, omg what a disappointment with this new Hub 4 each time the "WiFi dropping out constantly" and freezing the movie I am watching, I also notice when setting networking on my Amazan firestick I am not able to select 2g or 5g any longer messages saying (out of range) but watching a youtube tutorial on the VM new Hub 4 it says you can log into the Router via the admin panel, there you can adjust the Hub light settings which is awful and lights up my room, plus you can adjust the (WiFi) settings, this would really help I believe.
I have typed http://192.168.0.1 into my browser and just (192.168.01) but I got access denied blocked, so how do I get into the admin panel? to adjust my Hub settings?
Cheers guys!! 😁

I have managed to log into the Hub 4 admin panel, using my cellphone, I guess there is a conflict issue with both browsers I tried, thanks for all your responses to my topic..

http://192.168.0.1 is the correct link & it works for our VM Hub.
Your web browser must be configured to permit access to the non encrypted HTTP admin menu of the VM Hub.
If this is not resolved, post a screen shot of the error message and that will help to understand what is responding to you ( the web browser or the VM Hub ).

Where would I add this "nonencrypted HTTP admin menu of the VM Hub" ??

Hi @Darkboy24
Welcome back to the community forums
Sorry to hear you're having issues accessing the hub 4's admin.
Have you made any customisations to your devices DNS?
We've not been able to locate you on the systems at our side. Ensure that you've no VPN enabled and if this is still not working, please try a 60 second pin hole reset on the router. This will revert any customisations back to factory settings and full update the router with firmware/software updates. Please do not reboot the router whilst it is completing the pin hole request.

Hello Carley,
Thank you!
But I marked this (or) I thought I had as solved, I managed to get to the admin panel and altered my settings from the drop-down menu showing "Advance Settings" with help from a believe it or not a YouTube tutorial video, my experiences using the new hub 4 is excellent now.

Hang on are you saying my VM details are not showing to you? why not? or just here on the forum? I'm confused by your reply Carley....

If on the off chance you have it set to modem mode use 192.168.100.1 to get on
