Red light on router

  • Overheating red light on. Tried to switch it off for couple hours and tried to reset it few times but nothing. Router feels very hot to touch straight away after switching it back on. Can’t get a touch with virgin media support at the moment. Automatic system support it’s not helpful.

Hey Kacimira44, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am so sorry to hear about this.

I am going to send you a DM, but please try these steps for us;

• Turn the power switch off on the back of the Hub.

• Ensure the Hub is upright, in a well-ventilated location, and, if at all possible, out of direct sunlight.

• Then use the power switch to turn the unit back on. The Hub should now operate normally.
