New Build - Internet next door but not mine

Hi 

I am in the process of buying a new home which is a new build on an existing street. The other homes are decades old. 

Mine is end of terrace and all the other homes in the street have virgin but my address is not listed as available. 

How likely is it that a simple call will sort this out? Bearing in mind the house we will be attached to have virgin
