I have had the red overheat light on my Hub 3 for number of months now, and over that time the Wifi has been slowly getting slower and slower and reaching less areas in the house (I pay for the 350mp package).
I have tried the pinhole reset trick and reset the entire thing, reconnected all my devices back up top the wifi and still the light goes to red within a matter of minutes. I called VM customer services a month ago and asked for a replacement to be sent but I have never received anything. Can a member of the forum team please assist at all? Thank you!

VM might be more convinced if from the Hub 3 menu you run the Network diagnostic tool and provide a screen shot of the Temperature entry showing the Hub 3 is running hot.

Interesting idea actually! I will have a look at that ASAP to further my cause with them. Thanks

Hi there ATSimmo
Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forums!
Sorry to hear that you have a red light on your Hub currently. As per Client62's kind advice, please do check this for us and let us know what it says. We will be able to schedule in a home engineer visit if it's at risk of overheating.

Hi, so I have checked the diagnostic on the router settings and to be fair the results do say the router is running a normal temperature. I'm still not sure then why the red light is constantly on

Thanks for coming back to us @ATSimmo.
Can you please confirm if the hub is too hot to touch?
What we would also recommend is switching the hub off for 30 minutes - firstly via the switch on the back of the hub and then at the mains - this will allow the hub to cool down.
Please then reboot the hub and see if the red light returns on the router.
If this does re-appear, do please then try a pin hole reset to by holding a pin into the inverted Reset button on the back of the hub for 60 seconds to then see if when the hub reboots if the red light returns once again.
Thanks,

Hi Ben, I have tested all that you asked above. The Hub isn't TOO hot to touch but it definitely warmer than I'd imagine it should get. I switched the hub off at the wall too but the hub booted up with the red light on again.
I also then tried the pinhole reset, the hub did turn on with a normal white light but then after 10 minutes the red light came back on.
Thanks
