Wifi been down all day, router flashing red, tried restart etc but no joy. Also no problems in local area (next door's virgin is working fine!)
Think problem is with this below as it is not showing a light, sure there was a green light previously?
Any ideas?

That the powered amp and it should have a green light. You will need a technician to fix this.

Correct, that adapter powers the Fibre to Coax 'box' outside your home, required in RFoG (Radio Frequency over Glass) areas:

We are an RFoG connection too, the green LED should be lit.
Get an engineer to visit you, just report the service has failed & VM can tell that from a remote test.
In the past VM's offshore telephone support had no clue what this ONT PSUs are
and may send a Hub PSU, resulting in an on going delay.

Thanks, next question is how do I book an appointment, tried using the app and it does a equipment test & then says come back in 4 hours, went back after 4 hours & it's saying the same?

Hi Arnie-vm,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you from here, and for the issues you've faced with your Broadband service.
I can see that you have been able to schedule in an engineer visit which is great. Do let us know how the visit goes and if you need any further assistance.
Kind regards
