I set-up my new TP-Link XE75 Mesh wifi system to my 1GB Virgin Media Hub5 in Modem mode. It was amazing, a strong connection all round the house and into my garden room. I was delighted! Then the wifi failed and the light on my Decos went red yesterday (3 days later). I have rebooted the mesh and the hub several times. I managed to get my laptop to connect on one port and I then used that to reconnect to the Deco and the wifi worked for around 20 seconds then it failed and lights went red again. I can’t adjust anything on the Deco app without wifi and can’t access the router/hub/modem settings on the Hub as it is in modem mode so again no wifi.
Any suggestions?

The Hub 5 2.5Gb/s port has an issue that requires 802.03az (Energy Efficient Ethernet) Disabled
on connected devices, in this case the TP-Link XE75 Mesh.
Failing this connect to the Hub 5 via a 1Gb/s network port,

Thanks, I have found the port that accesses internet on my VM hub and could access internet on lap top. When I put this into the Deco the internet is not found and doesn’t work. So sadly it didn’t fix the problem.

With the VM Hub in Modem mode and laptop directly connected, the VM Hub menu is at http://192.168.100.1/
Network cable connect the Laptop to the LAN ports of the XE-75 to see why its Wi-Fi is down & access its menu.
Performing the steps in the right order can be very important to get Modem mode working.
In the post below refer to order of steps set out by Tudor in the 4th reply :
