Smart lighting Lightwave RF link - connecting to Hub5x

    I have the same issues when plugging the Lightwave Link directly into the Hub 5x.

     

    I use a TP link tl sg105s ethernet splitter in one location and the Lightwave Link now works when ported through this. Could be a solution for you.

     

    I don't technically know why it works through this but not directly to the Hub 5x. It may be due to compatibility with the port speeds. Lightwave troubleshooting states "It does operate using 10Mbps connectivity which has in rare instances caused issue with connectivity as some ports of 100Mbps or 1Gbps have had issues with this."

    Yeah, I'm pretty sure the HUB wouldn't have been tested with such an old standard, however, the TP Link clearly states 10Mbps compatibility.

    Many thanks for that, exactly what I needed, someone who has had the same experience with the same equipment, was a long shot but it may have worked 😉 shall keep you posted
