The light on my WiFi hub 3 has turned red. The WiFi hub is in open space and doesn’t feel hot to touch but from other posts it says this is due to overheating.
I’ve turned the unit off for a full day and it’s still red. I’ve also tried the reset button on the back but still red. Any other things to try?
Thanks
Tim

Is my Hub 3 Hot or not ?
It can be the LED is fading or it can an over temperature fault.
To check login in to the Hub 3 menu at http://192.168.0.1/ use the numeric Hub Password
from the bottom side label. ( this is not the Wi-Fi password )
Run the Network diagnostic tool
Scroll down through the results and find the Temperature entry. Is it normal ?

Hello timshaw3003.
Thanks for your post and welcome back to our community.
Sorry to hear about the red light on your hub 3.
I can look into this for you and arrange for an engineer to attend and replace it.
In the meantime, can you please make sure the hub 3 is well ventilated and away from any direct source of heat.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check the logo top right of your screen that would be great.
Regards
