Hi all,
Similar to quite a few other posts here, my hub 3 has had its usual white light replaced with a solid red light, think maybe over the last week or so. I've tried all the usual suggested fixes of power cycles, both software and hardware, at least two factory resets, and also ensuring it's well ventilated. The hub itself is not hot to touch.
The only difference for me from most of the other posts I've read is that my connection is still absolutely fine for all my devices, so I'm worried it's a different kind of error than for other users.
Can anyone please advise?
Thanks in advance!

Hi sharp55,
Thank you for your post. Welcome to the Community Forums!
We're sorry to hear that you have a red light on your Hub. Sometimes, it can just be an issue with the LED that causes it to stay red, despite not overheating. This is something that the engineer would be able to determine.
Sometimes, the magenta light used to indicate that a Hub is in modem mode can be confused with the red LED, however as you have said that your connection is fine, your Hub is probably in router mode.
I've dropped you a PM so we can arrange for an engineer to call round and take a look. 😊

Hi Beth,
Thanks for this. Yes, as you say the hub is indeed in router mode as my other devices can connect fine via WiFi.
I will keep a lookout for your private message as I haven't received this yet.
Thanks again.
