Re: Red light on my router

Sorry to jump on your post but I have had the same problem! My router has a red light but we have internet (apart from when it dips out on the phones) and done the hard resets etc so I’m thinking the same as you - that the router needs replacing but I don’t know who to contact

Hi

Sorry to jump onto you topic but I also have the same issue. I've followed all the advice about resetting the router, and have done this on 3 occasions with no improvement, the red light is still on and the router is not overheating.

I hope you can help as I'm not getting much help from other areas.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're very sorry to hear you're having some issues with your Hub 3 displaying a red light. Just to double check, is the Hub currently in modem mode? If so then the light will be a magenta colour but can look quite red at times. This is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. 

Thank you for trying the steps that have already been mentioned too. As the red light persists, we won't be able to fix this remotely so I would like to arrange a hub replacement for you and we need an engineer to come out to do this. I just need to confirm the address to move forward on this.
