I have a wi-fi black spot, so wanted to order a wi-fi pod, but it's proving very tricky. I looked at how to order a wi-fi pod and it directs me to the VM connect app. Apparently if the app detects a speed lower than your contract it directs you to ordering a pod. However, I use the app in most of the house and the speed is fine. If I use the app in the black spot it just says 'Oops, something went wrong' and directs me to My Virgin Media. If I login to My Virgin Media there's nowhere to order a pod. If I try to chat I get a useless bot that tells me to use the VM connect app. If i try to phone I get a similar runaround. And so on and so on ad nauseam.
What really galls is that I didn't even know about the wi-fi pods until Virgin emailed me and said why don't you get a pod 😡
