Internet is intermittently dropping out

Hi for the last week my Internet connection has been randomly cutting out. I keep suffering wifi speed drops. I've tried the virgin detector which tells me there is a problem with my connection but I don't know if it's in my home or my area. My equipment is connected properly and cables are tight and can't see any obvious signs of anything wrong with the equipment.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your internet at this time. We've checked the systems at our side today and cannot see any issues identified in the area or any issues with your router itself.

Do you find it only affects your WiFi connected devices whilst your further away from the router? 

Does the WiFi drop on all devices at the same time, or just on one?

Any issues at all with devices connected through an ethernet connection?

There is a flag that some devices in the past few days have had a poor signal quality and that you might benefit from a WiFi booster for those areas of the home were the WiFi is not quite reaching or doesn't have a strong signal to maintain a connection.

Hi it seems to be affecting all my devices. Even when I'm in the same room as the router, it still drops out. And in the room next to where the router is. It's been terrible and has only started over the last week or 2. Before this it was perfectly fine.
