I changed my phone and need to reconnect my SAD lamp. It operates on 2.5. Even though the hub is dual it doesn’t connect so need to login the hub on a web browser using the 198.168.0.1. It won’t connect, then I discovered that the hub will just not connect to the connect app. I have quite a few problems with things just dropping out so now believe it’s the hub that is the problem. I can still watch tv and have wifi connected but it isn’t stable on my bedroom tv, ALWAYS have to reconnect which takes several attempts and my daughters lamp regularly drops from connection to. Obviously it is impossible to talk to anyone at VM and only get an AI assisted response which is very frustrating. Any suggestions?

If you are NOT using VM Pods, split the Hub's wifi SSID and connect each device to the relevant band.
• Access your Hub by navigating to 192.168.0.1
• Login with the default login info (on base of Hub) unless you've already updated it.
• Go to Advanced Settings > Wireless > Security
• Under Wireless Frequency 2.4GHz change the Wifi Network Name (SSID), suggest append _2 to the end.
• Repeat for the Wireless Frequency 5GHz, suggest append _5 to the end and click on Apply changes
• Try to avoid spaces and periods in the SSID names as they can cause issues with certain devices.
• Disable the Smart Optimisation on the wifi bands.

Try this link http://192.168.0.1/ you must have VPNs including Apple Relay disabled.
Login with the Hub password ( i.e. not the Wi-Fi password )

Hi AngelaE1,
Can you confirm if you still require assistance with this or whether it is fully resolved.
