Hub 5 Ethernet problem

Hi all, I’m having major problems with my hub 5 router, the wifi works ok…. Until I plug in an Ethernet cable, when I connect one the WiFi just drops. We had an engineer out a while back and all he said was to just use WiFi. My problem with that is I have a cctv system that needs an Ethernet connection.

any ideas on what the problem is and what the I can do to get it sorted

Thanks

Maybe try a 60 second pinhole reset of the hub with no ethernet connection.

What? You want to use wire in 2024! are you mad!

VM ever pushing people to buy their own router with 1Gb ports and use hub in modem mode.

Perhaps it is a new 'feature' of the Hub 5

Have you tried a different cable? Could be a short in the cable causing a problem.
