Hi, my Hub 4 is making a constant whirring noise which sounds like a fan. I've followed some of the other advice and reset it, hoovered any dust (there wasn't any I could see) but as soon as I turn it on it starts. It feels warm to touch too and there is no heating on etc. Can this be fixed or swapped to Hub without a fan?

Hey Ellisol4, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this.
I am going to send you a PM to look into this, all our hubs will have a fan to keep it cool.
Please look out for my PM.

The Hub 4 is the only Hub from VM to have a fan fitted, and as such can cause issues. As you have already checked the Hub for a build up of dust, I can only assume the innards have a build up of dried debris and is causing issues with the thermal cooling. Some users of these Forums have added an additional fan to the top of the Hub to assist with cooling.

Hi @Marta55 👋
Welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.
Can you confirm if the hub is out in the open and in a well ventilated space?
Sometimes build up of dust can also cause issues so we'd advise checking for that too.
