I've just installed the TP-Link TL-WPA7517 powerline kit onto my Hub 3 network (using the same SSIDs) and everything is working pretty well. However it seems to have caused the Hub 3 to get confused about what devices are connected to the network, both in the VM Connect app, and when accessing the web interface for the Hub admin. Some WiFi devices are showing as Ethernet connections (when they don't even have an Ethernet port), and my laptop showed as an Ethernet connection when I've never used it cabled and it wasn't even turned on!
Are there any recommended settings for using the TL-WPA7517 with Virgin Hub 3, e.g. turn off power saving, fix the IP address, fix WiFi channels etc.? Is the mis-reporting of connected devices anything to worry about?
Thanks.

If you get the TP-Link tpPLC app it should show a clearer picture. It’s available for iOS and Android. As you don’t use VM Pods I wouldn’t use the Connect app at all.

Is the TP-Link is attached to the Hub by Ethernet? If so all the attached devices will show as cabled I suspect. You will most likely need to use the TP-Link app for the full picture.

Ahh of course why didn't I think of that! Yes the TP-Link does connect to the Hub via Ethernet. So my devices will show as Ethernet or WiFi depending on whether they are connecting to the TP-Link's WiFi, or the Hub's own WiFi.
Many thanks.
