Boostral 710 opt in red light

Hello,

My internet went down yesterday, the power light is flashing green and wifi light solid green, in the box outside where the boostral 710 sits the opt in light is solid red, the PWR light is green and opt out light is off. All connections are secure and no issues in my area. I have an engineer visit monday but wondering if anyone can shed light on this, line has only been installed just over a month ago.

Thanks

Looks like the incoming fibre is broken or dirty?  Phone this in or wait here a day or two for a VM Mod to pick this up.

Hi Liamwilliams209

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Thanks for making us aware of this. I've added the note about the opt in light to the tech's work order comments so they're aware of it.

Let us know how the visit goes.

Kind regards,

Did this get resolved easy enough, my opt in light is flashing only been connected 3 days. Customer services don't seem to understand what I'm saying. I have a technician coming on Saturday. Do they have acces to the box down the street or would that be a third party? If it's not sorted on Saturday I will have no choice but to go back to sky.

Can you please share how this was resolved? I have exactly the same issue.

Good Morning @jendot3, thanks for your post and a very warm welcome to you!

I'm a little unsure as to which poster your question is aimed at.

Can you possibly give us a personalised post about the issue you're experiencing and detailing any diagnostics that have been completed?

Kindest regards,

David_Bn

I have a similar issue. Solid red opt in light on the device inside the external brown wall mounted box.

Additional info: LAN is not available/visible. Hub flashing red. Workmen in vans have been on the estate in the last few days and neighbours with the providers reporting issues with service. Engineer due to visit in 2 days. I've run through troubleshooting to check that all indoor cables are still secure, pinhole reset the router, and also powered down the router for 30 mins although it didn't feel like it was running too hot in the first place.

Anything more I can do prior to engineer visit?
