Virgin referral

I’m awaiting a referral reward from last May 2023 from Aklamio, and have had no update (see email).

where can I make a formal complaint?

Sorry to see you haven't received your referral credit yet.

From here we are unable to help as it will be Aklamio that you need to contact.

Can we ask if you went through the website here when you signed up?

As the  timeframe has elapsed and your are still waiting on the reward, you will need to make contact with Aklamio directly by either calling 01576 820 030 or sending an email to virgin-media@aklamio.com.

Apologies we are unable to help any further as this is 3rd party company that orders go through.

Hi Gareth,

The Information was provided over the phone when becoming a customer, using a website deal. I have been in contact with Aklamio since last July following up the reward, currently to no avail as they say the Virgin Media team are the ones holding the process up.

 ….as before Aklamio are blaming Virgin so it’s a merry go round of poor customer experience!

Just so you know where you stand VM have 100% responsibility to sort out this issue. Suggesting that a customer should be chasing the company they choose to use is a disgrace. You could consider registering a complaint which will be a total waste of time apart from providing the gateway to escalate the issue to the Ombudsman.

Sorry to hear this is still unresolved Mike, when you have spoken to Aklamio, have they advised what need or are waiting for from us? Due to the nature of the sign up these rewards are offered by Akalmio.

I got an email on 7 March to say they’d escalate it but haven’t heard anything since. Found out my my family member who referred me has received their money but I’m still waiting!

I am sorry to hear this.

I would drop them a follow up email, they normally are quite fast at responding.
