I have been through my settings trying to switch to ebilling and all I can find is how to change how VM can contact me, but no way to switch to ebilling.
The link that the paper bill includes (virginmedia.com/help/virgin-media-ebilling) doesn’t work. The website doesn’t work. Calling doesn’t work. The chat line doesn’t work. The app doesn’t work. It seems Virgin Media has a deliberate policy to avoid any contact with its customers.
Can someone please assist me in moving to ebilling?
Meanwhile, the waste of paper and £1.75 per month in unnecessary charges continues…

Just like to add my comments to DerynD's post. I've also been trying to negotiate the broken system that is VM, to switch to ebilling. Their online services DO NOT WORK!! From previous posts, it would appear that this problem has been ongoing since 2019, and VM have CERTAINLY ignored their customers needs by leaving this problem unresolved. Any time there is a post on this matter the VM forum person asks the customer to go behind closed doors and 'private message'. Why doesn't VM simply fix the problem! Any constructive suggestions would be welcome.
