Unrequested Netflix added to Bill

I've just received this month's bill and seen that it had increased dramatically when looking into the specifics of the bill I've randomly had a Netflix £17.99 charge added to our account.  Under the "Stream Subscriptions" section it claims "Subscription started: 14/05/2024".  Firstly there is no way we added or requested this as we were on holiday at the time it says the subscription started, I am concerned some unscrupulous sales person has added this charge hoping we wouldn't notice which is very worrying that as a company you don't have controls to stop this.  Secondly just to check I opened the Netflix app and isn't active on our account.

I've really struggled to try get through to anyone via contact, but looks like any contact attempts are hidden behind FAQ and 'help you self' wikis.  I finally got through to whatsapp conversation which shut me down as it's now out of hours.  I'm feeling very frustrated with the situation and the inability to allow your customer to contact you for support.

Could anyone please help, it would be appreciated.

Paul

Hello ace_of_shades

It's disappointing to hear of the billing issue and charges for Netflix being added this month, we appreciate you raising this with us via the forums and welcome to the community.

Have you had a response to your WhatsApp conversation since posting or this morning? I will send you a Private Message to get some more details from you to assist. Check the envelope in the top right of the forum when signed in for the message.

Thank you for helping remove this from my account.  However I received no explanation as to how this happened and so am very concerned how services can be added to my account without my knowledge suggesting either serious security or insider risk issues and from other comments this seems rife.  I’ll be taking this into consideration when my contract expires when looking at options and suggest other do the same when weighing up media options in future
