TNT sports removed

Panicos70
Tuning in

Morning

yes it appears to be true. I renewed and the renewal said keep everything you have now for £xx pounds. I clicked renew and now I don’t seem to have access to TNT sports?!

it’s ridiculous really. Why state keep everything you have now, then click ok and step through a process only for them to remove TNT? Honestly it’s maddening.

Hi @Panicos70 👋

Welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.

When did you renew?

We sent emails out to customers who who had TNT on a Maxit package asking them if they would like to continue to receive the channels.

Come on Ayisha_B,

You know very well that some customers who VM deemed hadn't watched TNT sports "for a while" received emails some time back saying TNT was about to be removed, these customers were given the option to keep the service if they wanted by filling in an on line form.

The email Panicos70 is referring to is a completely different one about renewing a contract which is about to expire over the next few months or so, but I think you probably know this.

And yes these emails do say something along the lines of "Keep your same great package, at the same great price" only for customers to lose channels after renewing.

Thank you for your input HavencroftKev.

We will respond directly to @Panicos70 🙂

Hi Ayisha

I clicked on renew on the website early September and came into effect early October when last contract expired.

Reading my agreement it says I have Maxit package which includes TNT. I received no email re wanting to keep TNT which I do and use regularly for European Football and Oremiership matches in a Saturday. But you must know that as I am sure my viewing is traceable. How can I get it switched back on please as it stands I feel a little missold as the message was renew your package without changes and yet TNT is removed.

Appreciated you reaching out and look forward to hearing back re how to rectify.

thank you.

You are confusing 2 different scenarios here. The emails that were sent out about TNT sports were to those customers who had TNT Sports included in their package but rarely watched it.

Those emails effectively said we're taking TNT sports away but if you tell us not to we won't.

However, if you are negotiating a new contract TNT sports will not be included, it is now only available as an add on and won't be part of any packages going forward.

Hi @Panicos70

I'm going to pop you a PM 📩 so we can take a closer look into this.
