TNT Sports removed from package

Something similar has happened to me.

I received several emails asking me to renew - all said "same package, same speeds, less hassle"

I renewed and was sent contracts which clearly stated my Addons as:

Sky Entertainment & Sports UHD

Sky Sports SD

TNT Sports.

I have just had TNT sports removed, this is not accepatable when it is clearly in the contract.

How do I resolve this? Any help appreciated.

    Sorry to hear of your concerns with your contract regarding TNT. 

    We have sent an email out regarding customers who still have TNT on a Maxit package asking them if they would like to continue to receive the channels. The email will include a link to a digital page where you'll be able to submit a request to keep the channels. Please double check you've received such an email from us in your inbox or junk mail and let us know if you've any further issues at all.

      Thanks for the response.

      Unfortunately I have not received this email, it is not in my junk folders either.

      is there a team I can contact to get a solution?

        Hi Kendo44, 

        Thanks for coming back and updating us. As you've not received the email, we'll need to take a closer look at things. I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security. 

        I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

      How can I reactivate my TNT sports, as they removed it without telling me and i watch it all the time, and that's what I pay for with the MAXIT TV package. I didn't receive an email either to reactivate it. So annoyed as to why virgin has done this.

      I've not received an email and I have Maxit tv, I watch TNT Sports all the time

    Hi. I renewed my 18 month contract online last night. i've also had my tnt sports taken off, i thought i was getting the same package. been with virgin since around 2006 and not happy with this.

      Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your package at the moment, do you have a copy of the agreement that you signed, is TNT sports included in that? Have you been able to speak to the team to have this looked into?

    Hi,

    I'm in the same boat as the others on here. Tried to renew my contract and add additional channels, Received an email saying that I had removed TNT Sports which is not the case. I have read the other comments and I never received an email previously to confirm that I want to keep it. I spent several hours on  the online chat last week and no-one mentioned this email that I should have received. Making changes to my contract should be such an easy thing to do but you have made it so complicated by constantly changing bundle names and making different offers on the website than are visible to customer services on the online chat

      Hey Berna_dette, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am so sorry to hear this.

      TNT sports is no longer included with any deals, so for example when you come to do a renewal TNT wouldn't be include with it anymore.

      It is now an add on which you can add on if you like.

    Hi

     

    i have also discovered TNT has been removed today.  I renewed on 6th July keeping maxit package with all sports channels and disappeared today. 
    How do I get TNT back

      Sorry to see that you've lost access to TNT sports. Just to confirm, did you receive an email regarding this being removed? If so, was there a link on the email to have this reactivated?

    Same thing happened to me I've checked emails and it does say tnt sports will be removed very unclear as it also says I would lose nothing and tnt sports and maxit TV are shown in new contract. I've got nowhere with customer service so ended up cancelling everything. Very poor from Virgin Media

      Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

      As you've advised in the first line, it does state TNT will be removed, this confirms that TNT Sports wouldn't be part of that current agreement. 

      If you do wish to renegotiate your deal, please call the team on 150 / 0345 454 1111.

    Exactly the same here. Renewed contract on the basis it was the same package I’d previously had. Then find TNT sports has been removed. Never received an email indicating this may be likely to happen and my new contract includes Maxit TV (which according to your channel guide still includes TNT) but it’s not there. I do watch it and want it reinstated please!

      TNT sports is no longer included in the package its now an add on, this has been like this for a year now.

      Did any of your paperwork state you would be getting this at all?

    Maxit package as currently advertised on the website. No-one's contract documents need to specify TNT Sports seperate from that package;

    If you had and renewed the Maxit package, that will still be advertised on the website as including TNT Sports (for now)...
