I’ve been trying to resolve an issue through the chatbot, but to no avail. I’m being told that I’ll be charged £40 by 01/10 if I don’t return my Virgin Media equipment, but I have yet to receive packaging to do so. I’ve requested new returns packaging, but expect to be charged regardless because I am currently abroad with no means of sending the Virgin Media equipment back by 01/10. Could I request an extension beyond 01/10 for the returns? Thank you.

Any suitable cardboard box and padding should suffice for returns if they don't supply any.

As an aside, both times I left VM, I never received any returns packaging despite chasing several times. I ended up just reusing the boxes the kit came in originally.

We're very sorry you didn't receive the packaging.
The charge is applied automatically, so it's not something we can delay.
Once the equipment is received back however, that charge will be removed.
