Hello, I am a healthcare support worker for a blind man. He has got a Virgin 360 box which comes with a fiddly remote control. Has anyone found a more user friendly remote control that works with this box? Thanks.

Hey @gavinrissone Thanks for reaching out to us and a warm welcome to the Virgin Media Community forums. 👋🏼
I'm sorry to hear about the poor experience that is happening in relation to the remote. 😢
The remote being "fiddly" - is the remote warn out and requiring a replacement?
Or is the remote not suitable for use by the customer?
Let us know and we can go forward from there.
Kind regards,
Ilyas.

Thanks for responding. The elderly man who uses the remote is blind in both eyes and is also not very coordinated in his fingers. The remote is only a couple of months old but is narrow with small buttons. This results in a bit of confusion and frustration. I am looking for a larger remote with more distinct buttons. The only buttons he needs are:
On/off
Volume, channel up and down.
Okay button. Number 1 button for Pin.
Thanks.

Thank you for the reply @gavinrissone w👋🏼
Are you able to confirm the TV box that the customer has?
If you don't know the TV box or model, please send an image of the box and remote if you can.
And we can go on from there. 🧾
Kind regards,
Ilyas.

Box and remote.

Thanks for the reply @gavinrissone
So we can see the box is a V6 box and the TV remote is a TV 360 remote which indicated the customer is on TV 360.
We do have a high contrast remote which simplifies the colours but no larger or bigger buttons unfortunately.
We would need to see if this too is available on the TV 360.
Would you like to proceed and take this privately?
Kind regards,
Ilyas.

Hello, yes please. It would be useful to see both types of remote next to each other if possible to guage the suitability.

Apologies for the confusion, we don't have a specific remote with larger buttons. However there is a forum thread here with recommendations for alternatives to help.
