Price more expensive than discussed with an agent

Hi, I was in the process of leaving VM in October. When I managed to talk to someone they said that I could have the same package as my previous one for which I was paying £70 pm,he quoted me £84 pm to renew which I was quite OK with. My first bill was for £112 with a £3.50 discount so,i was paying £109. I also attached the quote after I agreed to stay at £84 pm

I have contacted the complaints dept online to raise an official complaint and have not received a credit worthy offer from them. Has anyone else experienced this incompetance in something that should be so easy to correct?

Oh yes, I have posted elsewhere so won’t go into the full detail again but basically I was offered exact same package as now for same price at renewal, yet when the contract came through VM had removed my TNT Sports. Called back to be told it’s now an ad on for £18/mth! So like you I’ve raised an official complaint as I was mis-sold. Suspect it’ll end up with the ombudsman but will give VM a chance first.

Hi Neil, I have finally got through to someone at VM as Paul on here suggested, didnt have much luck with them so,now I am going to raise another complaint and attach the contract agreement quoting £84 p/m.

Im not expecting to receive a satisfactory answer and my next step will probably be Ofcom.
