New customer deal ending, £51 to £94, how to negotiate?

On the 15th of December, my new customer deal is ending and so is my contract, so it is going up to £94.

I get 500mb/s internet, TV + one of the entertainment packages and I took out a small O2 £7 per month sim to get my internet doubled to 1 gigabit.

How exactly do I go about getting a better deal than this? Do I need to call and attempt to cancel?

Just to clarify, I suspect what you mean is that your contract has always been £94/month but you've had time-limited ~46% discounts reducing the cost to £51/month for the duration of your minimum term.

You will need to call into VM retentions to negotiate a new time-limited discount and re-contract period. Do so from a position of preparation - knowing your options and being clear exactly which TV bundles/tiers you need.

  • On the home page , and when you are signed into your account VM are offering "Black Friday" deals. Try that !. But as usual with these sort of offers VM don't seem to be up to speed with dealing with them ! I accepted a deal on 8th but still waiting for the new contract / changes and seems I am not the only one !
