Thanks for reaching out to us @Anon3 and a very warm welcome to our Community Forums!

Sorry to hear of the issues experienced with the charge for Netflix.

Have you been able to attempt the log in options available - such as forgotten E-Mail/password to see if the Netflix account is accessible?

Has Netflix also been previously agreed in a contract with Virgin Media?

Thanks,

David_Bn

I do not have a netflix account

Just to clarify, is this Virgin that is billing you? Some packages (like mine) have Netflix thrown in for free. If you have never subscribed to Netflix and you are sure that someone has not (maybe inadvertently) added Netflix via an upgrade screen then obviously you are owed an apology and a full refund.

Thanks for coming back to us @Anon3.

Can you please address the helpful post by @chrisjames for me?

This will help give us a better understanding of the current situation

Thanks

David_Bn

I have been trying to get this cancelled since November last year. Everytime I contact virgin I get told I have set premium netflix up.

Hi @Anon3

Thanks for coming back to us.

I'll send you a PM to help further.

Yes - this happened to me also.  It's either hackers, or someone inside Virgin. I had a £17.99 Netflix account added to my VM account and automatically logged into my Tivo, at a time when I wasn't even home - Netflix confirmed the account was created via the Virgin website and the exact time, and only because I could get the email address from the Tivo Help page. The email address was some free yahoo one - that was the same as the username they'd used.

No - they tried this with me also - but I could prove that the account was created when we were not home - but they refused to listen to this and kept insisting I must have done it accidentally somehow.  I am a systems analyst and software engineer for 30 years - I don't make "mistakes" like this.
