Hi Paul

Sorry for the late reply, I work away a lot. After VM cancelled my payment to Netflix, and after they requested the account to be closed, it just signed itself out (I'm assuming - as it longer exists, as when I went to log back in with my new details, the Spanish names etc. were gone).

Thanks, Jerry.

Thanks for the update on this JerryMouse,

So just to clarify however, are you now able to gain access without the said profiles beforehand being there?

Let us know,

Kain

Hi Kain_W

Yes, but only thanks to a lady from your call centre on my 20th or so phone call. I kept getting passed backwards and forwards, VM saying it was a Netflix issue and vice versa.

This doesn't stop the fact that there MUST have been a data breach somewhere from yourselves. Too many people have suffered the same hack I had. My VM password was unique, I don't use it anywhere else and somehow, someone managed to get it. I took my laptop and phone to a store, and they couldn't find any spyware/malware etc. So this tells me, my data can only have been 'leaked' by VirginMedia.

Thanks, Jerry.

Hi @JerryMouse,

Thank you for expanding. I'm really glad to hear that this issue has been resolved for you, though it's a shame to hear that you feel there may be an underlying cause.

So that I can assist you further, I'm going to send you a private message in a few moments. Please respond to this when you can and we'll proceed from there.

Thanks,

Sorry Zach_R, as I've stated on your forum 3 times now. I believe VM breached my data, so sending me a private message asking for my real name, account number etc. etc. Is NOT getting my personal details!

Hi @JerryMouse

Zach is VM staff and only asking you the same security questions that you would be asked if you phoned VM. He won't be able to help if you aren't prepared to pass validation.

Yes I understand that, thanks for stating the obvious. But, I didn't ask for help, I replied to someone else asking for help.
