SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! What is going on with this company? How can a company of this size act this way? Could you tell me what's going on? Does Sir Richard Branson need more money than ever?
My experience with Virgin Media has been a nightmare, every month, I've encountered issues with my bill. According to my contract, I'm supposed to pay £26.50 per month, but I've received bills for £64, £50, and even more. The reason? They claim that I subscribed to Netflix through their streaming box, despite my repeated explanations that I DON'T HAVE A NETFLIX ACCOUNT, and I DON'T USE NETFLIX. Nevertheless, they insist that I signed up for it and keep charging me extra for it.
How can they charge me for something I never subscribed to? They told me to go to my account and remove the Netflix service. To my surprise, I found Netflix activated. How? I repeat I don't have an account with them. But the worst part is, it has happened again. After deactivating Netflix once more, they charged me for Netflix again.
They told me the same thing: go to your account and remove it. And what do you think? Like magic, the NETFLIX service was ACTIVE once more. They claim that the only person who can activate it is me, but I don't believe them. You keep activating this service for me, repeatedly, while you earn more money. I fight and argue with you, and ultimately, you refuse to refund a single penny.
This is disgusting! To my surprise, when searching the internet, it appears that I'm not alone. I've come across several cases where people are charged for NETFLIX without ever having activated it. GENTLEMEN OF VIRGIN MEDIA, THIS IS SCAMMING! I'm going to report it through all available media. If you've faced a similar situation, please comment! Together, we can make a difference.

After months of back and forth I received a refund but did not acquaint to the full amount charged in the end I gave up

Hi omarballar84,
Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂
Sorry to see there has been some confusion over Netflix and your account.
So I can take a closer look at things I've popped you over a private message to get a few more details.

And indeed, never, ever has! Well other than his company accepting a large fee each year to allow them the use the ‘Virgin’ brand name!
You really do have to wonder if a team inside Virgin Groups’ legal department aren’t busy going through the paperwork, looking for some justification to terminate the agreement on the grounds of damage to the company name.

I've had exactly the same problem. Fraudulent Netflix account added to my VM account, with a different email address and name. Fortunately (somehow) it was automatically set up on my Tivo box, so I could get the email address that was used. Netflix cancelled the account, but Virgin are still billing me for it. They refuse to acknowledge the security breach is with them (even though Netflix confirmed this for me). I have reported it as fraud, and they have so far done nothing.
If they take the money from me in this month's bill, I shall be reporting them to the police for being complicit in fraud.
