Hi @jesstv

TNT Sports was included in the Bigger Bundle + Sports and the Ultimate Oomph and Ultimate Volt bundles as part of the package.

VM changed their packages on Monday 1st September and from that date any new customers signing up to VM will have to pay an additional fee of £18 per month for TNT Sports as it's a now a premium add on and no longer included in any bundles.

The Bigger Bundle + Sports is now the Bigger Combo Bundle + Sports HD and only includes the Sky Sports, Eurosport HD, and Viaplay Xtra sports channels.

The Ultimate Oomph and Ultimate Volt bundles are now obsolete and have been replaced with the Mega bundle.

Any current customers negotiating a new price at the end of their minimum term, or changing package will also have to pay an additional £18 a month if they want TNT Sports.

If you don't need the recording facility of the 360 box then in might be an idea to ask about switching to the IP based Stream box. You can add TNT Sports to that box for an additional £10 a month, however it's currently restricted to one box per household and can only be taken with VM broadband.

Hi,

Thank You for the reply.

I was going to rejoin online but due to confusion over TNT Sports phone up last night 6th September 2023 and was reassured TNT Sports was included in the £39.50 bigger bundle package (still called this on product page). After getting contract had serious doubts and phoned again to find ot TNT not included. Cancelled order immediately.

I wanted to rejoin VM but this shambles has eroded confidence in the culture  at VM.The whole Mega Maxit channel packages are misleading and I fear Virgin Media customer relations and reputation will be severely damaged by this fiasco.

I hope you can clarify the TNT sports situation more clearly so more people are not misled.

  • I have the biggest bundle at the moment. But when it's over there is no way I will pay the extra for TNT sports do I am looking at other options now ready for when I need to move. One thing I've found is my mobile speed is around 150 meg download speed so very happy with that.

Any customer re-contracting now, just needs to price up your chosen combination of services with other providers - just as has always been the case.

On our wavelength

Just remember, unlike a subscription with sky , TNT, Eurosport directly, theres no catchup for eurosport on virgin or sky.

BT  now have the discovery+ app (And so, eurosport) on their TV box included for free with any TV package, so that may work out better for you

Fibre optic

Virgins £18 a month is the cheapest way to watch it as to add it on BT, Sky or discovery plus is over 20 quid.. however it is a pain that I only have sky sports for the F1 channel and TNT for the rugby so I am going to be really paying over the odds when my contract runs out..
