A couple of years ago Virgin installed our new internet cable and all is well. However we are doing some major works in the garden and I have discovered our internet cable.....it was laid on the ground under an inch of soil with zero protection from damage. I need these rerouted and as our street has just had Ultrafast installed and we have access to this within a couple of feet of my property what are the chances of Virgin moving my old cable ? Looks fairly easy to do but I can't live with my cable being as exposed as it is . Should never have been installed like that ....

Hi Neil85,
Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐
We're sorry to hear that the cable was buried without any protection. This is something that we can arrange a visit for. In terms of moving the cable, this will depend on if there is any spare length available. This is something that can be checked with the engineer when they come to protect the cable. If it's possible to move it then they can then arrange this visit at the time for you however so you're aware, it will unlikely happen on the same day.
I have sent you a direct message to confirm some details with you and this will allow us to do this with you in a private space. Thanks,
