Horrible support

I have tried twice now to upgrade my internet package to include tv. The first time I got 3 different prices from 3 different advisors and gave up. I just tried again and got a quote 50% above the introductory pricing. 

when I asked why I couldn’t get the intro package they just removed all the channels and extras like Netflix that I asked for and gave me a quote which was still more expensive. 

a friend of mines has just had his sports channels disappear and when he phone up they said the connection looks fine and hung up on him. 

I haven’t ever experienced support quite this bad before… the incompetence is unreal! Has anyone else experienced this?

they won’t even let me give them more money! As soon as open reach bring fibre to the premises to my area I’m switching to sky.

The forum is full of muddled, bungled and confusing renewal topics. The forum is also full of hopeless tech support topics as well.

When you try to renew, the sales agents will normally try to upsell you the biggest most expensive bundle they can. They are not immediately going to give it to you for new customer pricing though, as you are not a new customer.

The bargaining chip of leaving VM only works though if you are actually prepared to follow through and do it if needs be.
