Did you mean:

Have to resubscribe to TNT Sports. What?

I got this email from Virgin today:

We wanted to let you know that we’re making a change to the way we provide TNT Sports channels in order to continue to provide the best value entertainment packages for our customers. We’ve noticed that you haven’t viewed these channels in the last 6 months, and therefore we’re removing automatic access to them from 30th June 2024. Don’t worry, nothing else is changing. If you wish to re-activate TNT Sports, you can click here for more information.

It does appear to be genuine but wth, they're saying they'll remove some channels and not reduce the price of my package. Why would anyone agree to that? Just like I haven't watched any of the shopping channels. Does this mean I then have to click through every channel every so often? What nonsense.

So I've just spoken with Customer Relations and they won't re instate my TNT Sports channels?

What is going on here?

Kind regards

 Dean

I would urge caution on chasing this up via offshore customer services and instead either wait for the VM forum team or for the form itself to be eventually processed. Also keep a very careful eye on your VM online account if you have had the channels reactivated by offshore customer services.

I’ve also lost access to TNT today despite filling in the online form, and despite me regularly watching the channels over the last six months.
This is appalling on the part of VM. I shouldn’t have to go to all the hassle of getting TNT reinstated when it is part of my contract and should never have been taken away. And it’s clear that at least some VM staff are completely ignorant when dealing with customers who are seeking to have the channels reinstated.

Got an email confirming TNT is back on, and there's no charge. What a pointless exercise.

Thank you for your link to what is being discussed , my search before posting had not shown anything. VM are upsetting a lot of customers including myself with loss of access, falls statments of non use of TNT sport and questions over why we are having to apply for a service we already had. Does anyone know If there is a super complaint system as this has effected so many and seems not to be rectified within the 48 hour timeframe given.

Mine still hasn't been put back on?

And Customer Services won't do anything too help?

When did u put a request for the services too be re instate by Virgin Media?

I did my corn over three days ago?

Same here.  The Moto GP and bike racing in genaral is all we want TNT for. We watched the last GP, so where VM got the idea that we haven't used TNT for 6 months is BS. Also, the email turned up with just 1 days notice, and not everyone checks there inbox every day.

Well why haven't they actioned the form I submitted and Customer Relations by telephone said there was nothing they could do?

I'm still waiting for your private message. Thanks 👌
